So, today is one of those most memorable days... the day that my baby, our last of four, went on her merry way to her first day of Kindergarten.
LilyAnna has been so excited to start Kindergarten. Although I think she was far more excited to finally get to ride the bus!
I wondered how "I" would do. I did cry when I sent my boys off... got tears in my eye's when I sent Eden off... today I just got a knot of anxiety in my tummy... I worry how she will do! The other kids I had no doubt they would do well... Lily, I worry, and instead of getting emotional- I think I will remain worried today. Maybe I will cry tomorrow. :)
Here are quite a few photos of the beginning of her first day... going to Kindergarten!
That would be her "Gingerbread Girl" homework PEEKING out the top of the backpack... she was dressed in a pink shirt with Jolly Rancher buttons... a multi-color polka-dot skirt... pink shoes... skittle eyes and nose... cheerio mouth... and purple curly hair with a green and pink bow.
Lily and her friend Emery waiting at the bus stop for the BIG bus!
Ok... Yes... I'm a nut... I raced the bus to school so that I could see her go in for her first day! I offered to take her, but she wanted to ride the bus!
I love this look on her face. Excited curiosity!
Finally at school... heading into class with Emery... I am happy they were both placed with the same teacher!
"Bye Mom" ... and off she goes.
Now I sit and wait... and blog... and now going to Facebook... and wait... one more hour and she will come home to tell me all about it!
