Bye Bye Thanksgiving... Hello Christmas!!!

I have been avoiding Christmas through the Thanksgiving holiday... I do not think it is fair to stomp over Thanksgiving and bring on Christmas so early... I LOVE Christmas and would love to celebrate it for months, but there are other holidays to enjoy too.

BUT NOW... Thanksgiving is OVER... BRING ON CHRISTMAS!!!

We have been getting out boxes of Christmas today and cleaning the yard in preparation for the Christmas season. The kids are having so much fun getting everything out and trying to decorate. Everything is chaotic in this house right now...I really hope to have some sort of order to the decorations by this Friday.

We just had family over for Thanksgiving and now we are having 30 over for a family Christmas party a week from tomorrow. I hope to have some holiday spirit throughout the house for the upcoming party.

We are heading out this evening to get our Christmas tree! I can't wait. This is one of my favorite parts of the season! I love going out in the bitter cold and picking out our aromatic beautiful tree!!! I am having a hard time deciding where it will go... i would love to place it in the front window to share its beauty with the world.. BUT it is just so much more cozy and loving in the family room next to the fireplace. I think that is where it will go and I will just have to save my pennies for a fake tree for the window next year!
